I love the music video rather than the song, because the style of the entire music video is casual which is totally suitable for the song. Especially, I love the way that director shows the music video. He/She did not use the directly way to show the shots that ADELE sing song, the way that he/she used is a mirror's reflection.
Here, we can see ADELE stands in the mirror and hear her singing with a deep emotion. This moment, ADELE inside of the mirror maybe is not the one who you meet in the daily life, maybe is another ADELE who you never meet before. She is telling a story with her heart through the music. In this way, I can feel the emotion and believe everybody who listen to the music can feel it as well. So, the mirror is a tool that let people can enter her mind and understand her feeling easily.
Also, mirror represents a kind of feeling in the music video. We know it is true that nobody can touch reflection. and it always gives people a kind of feeling which is unreal. That is similar to the love. You can not touch but can feel; It existed but you think that is more looks like a dream sometimes after it disappeared. Or even you would doubt if that person showed up in your life truly or not. Mirror is a media which connects with past love and her present emotion. Someone left with time, but her love still here.
